<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE PRICE AND
<br />CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, OF LOT ELEVEN (11) IN THE SOUTH
<br />END ADDITION,A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID
<br />CITY, TO BILL BOYD; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
<br />EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO BILL BOYD AND DEC-
<br />LARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />, the City of San Marcos, Texas, advertised for
<br />bids for the sale of Lot Eleven (11), in the South End Addition,
<br />a subdivision in Hays County, Texas, accordinq to the map or
<br />plat thereof, recorded in Volume 55, Paqe 601 of the Deed Records
<br />of Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel No. 65A-2
<br />in the San Marcos Record, a local newspaper with a qeneral
<br />circulation in the County of Hays, State of Texas, on March 25,
<br />1984, and March 27, 1984; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement a bid was submitted
<br />by Bill Boyd for said described property in the amount of Three
<br />Thousand Six Hundred Twenty~Five Dollars ($3,625.00); and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said bid met the minimum disposition price set
<br />for said property by the Urban Renewal Board of Commissioners of
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas on June 1, 1982; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board accepted the bid as the highest and best
<br />responsible bid for said property on April 4, 1984; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Board recommends the approval of said purchase
<br />price and the approval of the terms and conditions for said sale,
<br />as contained in the bid document; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale by the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas, of Lot Eleven (11), in the South End
<br />Addition, a subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the
<br />map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 55, Page 601 of the Deed
<br />Records of Hays County, Texas, also known as Urban Renewal Parcel
<br />No. 65A~2, to Bill Boyd are hereby approved.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That the consideration of Three Thousand Six
<br />Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($3,625.00) for said property be,
<br />and the same is hereby, approved.
<br />
<br />SECTION 3. That the purchaser is hereby placed on notice
<br />that the subject property is subject to assessment under the
<br />provisions of Article 1105b, Texas Revised Civil Statutes.
<br />
<br />SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />Emmie Craddock, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute a
<br />warranty deed to Bill Boyd from the city of San Marcos for said
<br />property.
<br />
<br />SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten davs
<br />from and after its Dassaae and after its publication in a newspaper of
<br />general circulation in the area.
