<br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of
<br />the Regular Meeting held October 14, 1985. Mr. Brown moved for approval
<br />and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
<br />
<br />Mayor Cradèock announced the next item on the agenda, Executive Session,
<br />would be Iiloved to later in the meeting following some of the public hear-
<br />lngs.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of the Cemetery Main-
<br />tenance Contract. Rodney Cobb briefly reviewed the bids with the Council.
<br />Henry Kyle, Chairman of the Cemetery Commission, advised the Council
<br />the Commission recoQffiended the award of bid to Maintenance Management
<br />(Gene Bagwell) because he was doing an outstanding job and there had
<br />been no complaints made to the Commission regarding his work. Ada
<br />Burke also recommended ~.1r. Bagwell be awarded the bid. Albert Ramirez,
<br />one of the bidders, reviewed with Council his prior involvement with
<br />the maintenance of the Cemetery. Gene Bagwell, one of the bidders, re-
<br />viewed with Ccuncil his qualifications. John Bean, a resident of San
<br />Marcos for 63 years, recommended Mr. Bagwell be awarded bid. Mr. Brown
<br />moved to award bid toMaintenance .~Iâ.nagement (Gene Bagwell) in the amount
<br />of $46,990.00 and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion. On roll call the
<br />following vote was recorded:
