Herrera <br /> Director of Finance Betty Oliver <br /> Director of Public Works George Boeker <br /> Director of Planning Frank Robbins <br /> Also Present~ Kent Butler, Melissa Millecam, Lisa Higgs, Scott Storm, <br /> Joe Verdoorn, Russell Scott, Linda King, Ross Allegro, Bob Bennett, Ken <br /> Strange, Bill Fly, Terry Colley, Tex Hughson, Cindy Rodriguez, Mark <br /> Hendricks and others. <br /> Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the North San <br /> Marcos Regional Service Plan for Water. Kent Butler stated the plan <br /> haè not been revised in the past three weeks. Mr. Brown expressed con- <br /> cern for the impact on the Edwards Aquifer for supply of water, because <br /> when this area is developed, it will double our present population in <br /> the City. Mr. Brown also expressed concern for scarcity of water during <br /> periods of drought, such as the City and area experiencedin 1984. Mr. <br /> Butler stated location of wells would have some effect on availability <br /> of water. Mr. Coddington stated there were other factors that would <br /> affect the supply of water from the Aquifer, such as poisoning, and <br /> that the City needed to be acquiring information regarding the purchase <br /> of water from Canyon Lake. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Water <br /> Plan and Mr. Nicola seconded the motion. On roll call the following <br /> vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the North San <br /> Narcos Regional Service Plan for Wastewater. Kent Butler advised the <br /> Council there were minor changes in the Plan and an additional Table <br /> 7A, Band C. Mr. Butler stated the estimates in the Plan were conser- <br /> vative. Mr. Brown asked if the figures would handle the effluent at <br /> a different outfall location. Mr. Butler stated he would not antici- <br /> pate much change needed and advised that operational maintenance costs <br /> were not included in these figures. Ms. Kissler moved for approval of <br /> the Wastewater Plan and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call <br /> the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Coddington. <br /> * Mr. Farr was not present at this meeting. <br />
