Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Susan Narvaiz John Diaz Daniel Guerrero John Thomaides Ed Mihalkanin Chris Jones Gaylord Bose Dan O'Leary Janis K. Womack Mark Taylor Howard Williams Mike Baker Collette Jamison Laurie Anderson Carol Barrett Tom Taggart Richard Mendoza Rosemary Suniga, Phil Fred Terry, Camille Millecam, Shelley Mayor Narvaiz introduced a public hearing regarding an Annexation Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO THE CITY AN AREA CONSISTING OF 81.15 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED IN THE 3200-3300 BLOCKS OF HUNTER ROAD (FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH TRACT); APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS TRACT; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. Mayor Narvaiz opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. No one did, so Mayor Narvaiz closed the public hearing. Mr. Bose I inquired whether this property is tax exempt.
