Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code Section 551.074, to discuss the appointment of a public officer or employee (Interim City Attorney); to discuss the evaluation of public officer (City Attorney); and the duties of public officers (City Attorney, City Manager, City Clerk, Municipal Court Judge); and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting economic development I negotiations, or to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (Development Proposal-IH-35 I McCarty Lane area; Downtown area; River Ridge Parkway area; and IH 35/Yarrington Road * Mr. Taylor was not present at this meeting.
