RESOLUTION 2017-131R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND FREESE <br /> AND NICHOLS, INC. FOR THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL <br /> ENGINEERING SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT ESTIMATED AT $677,419.00 FOR <br /> ENITRE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT CONTINGENT UPON THE <br /> CONTRACTOR'S PROVISION OF SUFFICIENT INSURANCE IN <br /> ACCORDANCE WITH THE ATTACHED AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached Agreement (the "Agreement") between the City and Freese <br /> and Nichols, Inc. for the provision of professional engineering services in the total not to exceed <br /> amount of$677,419.00 for entire term is approved contingent upon the contractor's provision of <br /> sufficient insurance in accordance with the attached Agreement. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement <br /> on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
