RESOLUTION 2019-133R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE LAW FIRM OF RUSSELL RODRIQUEZ HYDE BULLOCK, <br />LLP TO PROVIDE SPECIALIZED LEGAL COUNSEL AND <br />REPRESENT THE CITY BEFORE STATE AGENCIES WHEN <br />NECESSARY IN VARIOUS UTILITY MATTERS; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE THE ENGAGEMENT AGREEMENT <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The City Council of the City of San Marcos ("City") approves the <br />engagement agreement with the law firm of Russell Rodriquez Hyde Bullock, L.L.P., ("Law <br />Firm") attached and incorporated as Exhibit A, authorizing the Law Firm to provide specialized <br />legal counsel and represent the City before State agencies when necessary in various utility <br />matters. <br />PART 2. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to execute the engagement <br />agreement on behalf of the City <br />PART 3.
