Herman <br />Foster, John Thomaides, Mike Chapman, Dianne Wassenich and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Chiu lead the <br />Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced the Citizen comment period. (1) Matt Janysek stated <br />he is the neighborhood representative of the Hills of Hays Subdivision. <br />He stated he wants more information on the Crystal River Parkway link and <br />on the proposed road. He wants to meet with the Council and staff before <br />any decision is made. (2) RaYmond Poff stated he is a resident of Hills <br />of Hays. He stated Sector 5 includes a four-lane thoroughfare behind <br />DeZavala Elementary and in front of Hills of Hays. Children in the <br />subdivision now can safely walk to school. If the roadway is built, he is <br />concerned for the safety of the children and the increase level of noise <br />from the traffic. (3) Jody Shaffer stated if a four-lane roadway is built <br />in front of their subdivision, she is concerned for the safety of the <br />residents and those who use the neighborhood park.
