<br />147. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-161_R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MARCOS <br />HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR A MINORITY <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAi\1 FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />2003-2004; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos desires to enter into a direct contract with the San Marcos <br />Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year 2003-2004, in order to promote orderly and <br />responsible economic development for the San Marcos geographic area. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY corNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The terms and conditions of the attached agreement between the City of San <br />Marcos and the San Marcos Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for a minority economic development <br />program for fiscal year 2003-2004, are approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to <br />execute the Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
