<br />81 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-129R <br /> <br />A RF'c~O LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND <br />SAID CITY'S CONTRACT WITH BROWNING-FERRIS, INC. <br />PROVIDED THAT CERTAIN AMENDMENTS ARE ~1ADE; AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM TO SAID CONTACT <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos is desires to exercise its <br />option to extend that certain contract of April 11, 1983, with <br />Browning-Ferris, Inc. relating to solid waste collection and disposal <br />for an additional five (5) year period provided that amendments to <br />said contract are made; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />IT <br /> <br />RESO LVED <br /> <br />BY <br /> <br />THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> <br />PART 1. That the City Manager of said City be and is hereby <br />authorized to extend said contract provided that amendments, as <br />substantially provided in the addendum attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all purposes, are made to said contract. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor of said City be and is hereby authorized <br />to execute amendments to said contract as substantially provided in the <br />attached addendum. <br /> <br />PART 3.
