• RESOLUTION 2010 -41R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL CONTRACT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE STATE OF TEXAS, ACTING BY AND <br />THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION <br />RESOURCES ( "DIR ") FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF NETWORK <br />SECURITY CONTROLLED PENETRATION TESTING BY DIR'S <br />CONTRACTOR AT &T, INC.; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER <br />TO EXECUTE THIS INTERLOCAL CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached interlocal contract between the City and the State of Texas, <br />by and through the Texas DIR for the performance of network security controlled penetration <br />testing through DIR's contractor, AT &T, Inc. is approved. <br />PART 2. The City and the State of Texas by and through the Texas DIR enter into <br />this contract pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government <br />Code, as amended. <br />• PART 3. The City Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to execute this interlocal <br />contract on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
