82 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FEBRUARY 25, 1974 Present Mayor Eddy A. Etheredge Councilmen William L. Marshall; Albert Sierra; Marcus Jackson; John Finch; Melissa Millecam; Dani Presswood; Juan Palomo The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 11, 1974, were approved on motion of Mr. DeLa Rosa and second of Mr. Dibrell. The Minutes of the Special Meeting held February 18, 1974, were approved on motion of Mr. Dibrell and second of Mr. DeLa Rosa with Councilmen Cunningham and Tauch abstaining due to their absence at the meeting. I The Mayor opened a Public Hearing to consider a land use change for a piece of property located between C.M. Allen Parkway and Moon Street, from "Public Use" to I'General Business Use". Albert Sierra, Executive Director of the San Marcos Urban Renewal Agency, was present to request the change. There were no objections voiced. The Mayor closed the hearing and read the caption' of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE APPROVONG AND ADOPTING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR N.D.P. PROJECT TEX A-6, FOURTH ACTION YEAR, AND DIRECTING THAT SAID CHANGE BE FILED AS PART OF THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR SAID PROJECT. Mr. DeLa Rosa moved the Ordinance be approved on first reading. Dr. Tauch seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Etheredge introduced an Ordinance and read its caption as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ORDER CALLING FOR THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION BY CHANGING THE POLLING PLACE IN PRECINCT 12 FROM BONHAM SCHOOL TO EL BUEN PASTOR METHODIST CHURCH. Mr. DeLa Rosa moved the Ordinance be approved on an emergency basis. Mr. Cunn:i.ngham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Etheredge introduced an Ordinance and read its caption as follows: I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE RESOLUTION AND ORDER ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION BY CHANGING THE POLLING PLACE IN PRECINCT 12 FROM BONHAM SCHOOL TO EL BUEN PASTOR METHODIST CHURCH. Mr. DeLa Rosa moved the Ordinance be approved as an emergency. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
