Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, the Special Meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Susan Narvaiz at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Conduct a public hearinL- to receive comments for or aeainst the proposed annexation of <br />Paso Robles (Carma Tract), Barnes Tract, and Lowman Tract for a total of 920.659 acres; <br />consisting of Area 1 - 860.369 acres, more or less, located west of Hunter Road, north and <br />south of the terminus of Centerpoint Road at Hunter Road; and Area 2 - 60.29 acres, more <br />or less, located east of Hunter Road, south of Centerpoint Road, and west of the Union <br />Pacific Railroad right of way. <br />At approximately 6:03 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing. <br />Larry A.
