Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, the Regular Meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Susan Narvaiz at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Council Chambers <br />of the City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Discussion on Economic Development contract pertaining to the Budget and direction to <br />staff. <br />Provost Perry Moore, President Chamber of Commerce, encouraged the San Marcos City <br />Council to continue the contract with the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce. Amy Madison, <br />Director of Economic Development, introduced State Representation Patrick Rose and the <br />members of the Economic Development Board. House Representation Patrick Rose encouraged <br />the San Marcos City Council to continue the contract with Partners for Progress. <br />4. Executive Session <br />
