Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present <br />With a quorum present, the Special Meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Susan Narvaiz at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in the Council Chambers of <br />the City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />3. Hold a second public hearing to receive comments for and against the proposed <br />annexation of Paso Robles (Carma Tract), Barnes Tract, and Lowman Tract for a total of <br />920.659 acres; consisting of Area 1 - 860.369 acres, more or less, located west of Hunter <br />Road, north and south of the terminus of Centerpoint Road at Hunter Road; and Area 2 - <br />60.29 acres, more or less, located east of Hunter Road, south of Centerpoint Road, and west <br />of the Union Pacific Railroad right -of -way. <br />At approximately 6:02 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing. <br />
