• RESOLUTION 2011 - 2 9 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO A <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH TEXAS STATE <br />UNIVERSITY TO AUTHORIZE THE UNIVERSITY'S PEACE <br />OFFICERS TO ENFORCE CITY ORDINANCES; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Addendum To Memorandum of Understanding is hereby <br />approved to authorize Texas State University's peace officers to enforce all city ordinances <br />contained in any chapter of the San Marcos City Code with the exception of ordinances <br />contained in the Land Development Code. <br />PART 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute the Addendum on behalf of the <br />City. <br />PART 3.
