<br />120. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005- 1 44 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br />LANGFORD COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />ADMINISTRATION OF A TEXAS HOME PARTNERSHIP GRANT <br />PROGRAM FOR THE CITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos was awarded a 2004 Texas HOME Partnership <br />Program (the "HOME Program") grant by the Texas Department Housing and Community <br />Affairs in the amount of $472,023.00 with $453,868.00 to be used for the <br />rehabilitation/reconstruction of eight owner-occupied homes. <br /> <br />2. The City requested proposals for the provision of professional services for <br />administration of the HOME Program grant, and wishes to contract with Langford <br />Community Management Services for these services. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached agreement between the City and Langford Community <br />Management Services for the provision of professional services in connection with the <br />administration of the City's HOME Program grant is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the <br />Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
