<br />50. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 10:R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY AND THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS POOL FOR <br />ADMINISTRA TIVE SERVICES AND EXCESS STOP-LOSS <br />INSURANCE RELATED TO THE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS PLAN; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />P ART 1. The attached Interlocal Agreement between the City of San Marcos and the Texas <br />Municipal League Intergovernmental Employee Benefits Pool for administrative services and excess <br />stop-loss insurance related to the City employee benefits plan is approved in substantially the form <br />attached to this resolution. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, and the City Attorney, Mark B. Taylor, are <br />authorized to negotiate revisions to the attached Interlocal Agreement, and the City Manager is <br />authorized to execute the agreement, as revised, on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
