II I II 19 RESOLUTION NO. 1980-87R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN OPTION AGREEMENT WITH DON RAINS FeR THE PURCHASB OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE SUNSET ACRES SUBDIVISION UNIT #3, SECTION A; AUTHORIZIN~ THF MAlOR OF SAID CITY TO EXE- CUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos Texas needs a fire station to serve the south part of said City; and, WHERBAS, the City Council of said City desires to purchase real property in the southern portion of the City on which to locate said fire station; and WHEREAS, funds for said purchase are available in the amount of $18,665.60; and is the owner of property located in the ~- Unit #3, Section A, of said City and of two tracts of land in that area to of a fire station; now, therefore, WHEREAS, Don Rains Sunset Acres Subdivision is willing to sell either the City for the location BE IT RESOLVED BY tHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Option Abreement bQtween the City of San l'1arcos, Texas and Don Rains ~oncerning t<JO tracts of land in the Su~se~ Acres Subdivision Unit #3, Section A, a copy of which is attaLhed hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, and the sa~e is hereby approved in all respects. PART 2. That the Mayor of the City of S~n Marcos, Texas, Kenneth V. Kraus, be, and he is hereby, allthorized to execute said option agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos. PART 3.
