<br />143 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1993- <br /> <br />l78 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br />AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS AND HAYS COUNTY FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT <br />AND OPERATION OF A DRUG TASK FORCEi AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITYi AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />entered into an <br />establishment and <br />Forcei and, <br /> <br />on April 23, 1990 the City of San Marcos <br />agreement with Hays County for the <br />operation of the Hays County Drug Task <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Agreement to <br />allow the parties flexibility in the selection of the Task <br />Force Commander and Assistant Task Force Commanderi now, <br />therefore I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That Amendment No. 1 to the Interlocal <br />Agreement for the Hays County Drug Task Force ~ between the <br />City and Hays County, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein for all intents and purposes I is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />authorized to execute Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
