<br />28 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- 111 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE TERMS OF A <br />PROPOSAL BY HAYNES AND BOONE FOR LEGAL <br />SERVICES RELATED TO A CIVIL SERVICE DEMOTION; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to engage the Fort Worth law <br />firm of Haynes and Boone for legal services related to a proposed <br />civil Service demotion in the Fire Department; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Haynes and Boone has submitted the attached proposal <br />to provide these services; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms of the proposal letter attached to <br />this Resolution from Haynes and Boone for legal services related to <br />a proposed civil Service demotion in the Fire Department are hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby <br />authorized to execute this Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
