<br /> 130 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 34 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL AID IN <br /> FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY AND <br /> THE CITY OF SEGUIN, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE THE <br /> AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos has the authority, pursuant to <br /> the Texas Interlocal Cooperation Act, Article 4413(32c), Texas <br /> Revised civil Statutes, to enter into agreements with other cities <br /> for the provision of fire department services; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Agreement For Mutual Aid In Fire Department <br /> Services between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and the City of <br /> Seguin, Texas, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein for all intents and purposes, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby authorized to execute this <br /> Agreement on behalf of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PART 3.
