44 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JULY 11, 1983 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr Fred Guerra Betty Jane Kissler John A. Kreczmer Jaime Moore City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Barbara Jean Edwards Director of Finance Earl Williams Director of Planning Joe Garza Director of Public Works George Boeker Also Present: Jeff Watkins, Jerri Martin, Gregg Echols, Olga Garza, John Dorbandt, Lee Swift, Nina Pryatel, Wayne Moore, Brenda James, Mike Moore, H. M. Brittain, Ronnie Dannelley, Shirley Wickersham, Bill Pryatel, Kim Dallefeld, Carol Grimm, Ron Sandford, Stan Scheiber, Charles Stone, David Morrison, Lucky Tomblin, David Valle and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held June 27, 1983. Mr. Brown moved for approval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Kissler, Kreczmer, Moore. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Craddock. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting held June 29, 1983. Ms. Kissler moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Kissler, Kreczmer, Moore. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Farr, Guerra, Craddock. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointments to the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals. The Council needs to appoint or reappoint three members to this Board. Mayor Craddock placed in nomination the names of Jim Kelley for reappoint- ment and Bryan Hoot for appointment to this Board, and Mr. Farr se- conded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council requested the appointment of a third member to the Board be placed on the July 25, 1983 agenda. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three appoint- ments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Betty Wolverton as a member of the Board and Ms. Kiss- ler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council request- ed the appointments of two more members to the Board be placed on the July 25, 1983 agenda.
