1 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OCTOBER 10, 1983 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Member *Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held September 26, 1983. Mr. Guerra moved to ap- prove the minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unani- mously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of a nomination to the Hays County Appraisal District Board of Directors, by adoption of Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1984; DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT THE NAME OF THE NOMINEE TO THE COUNTY CLERK OF HAYS COUNTY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECT- IVE DATE. lv1ayor Craddock moved to nominate Fred Guerra and for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the fol- lowing vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Craddock, Kissler, Kreczmer, Moore. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appoint- ment to the CAPCO Housing Finance Corporation. Mr. Farr moved to reappoint Tess Norris and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. * Mr. Brown was present at 8:10 p.m.
