12 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APRIL 9, 1984 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. C. Carson, Jim Wise, Jim Byrn, Kevin Smith, Stephanie Langenkamp, Kim Dallefeld, Charles Stone, Shirley Wickersham, Terry Lighthouse, Dan Nelson, George Human, Doug Smith and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 26, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for approv- al and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Craddock. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- ments to the Commission for Minorities. Mayor Craddock moved to ap- point Ofelia Vasquez and Ollie Giles and ~1r. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointment of Chairman to the Reinvestment Zone Number One Board of Directors (JASBA). Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Gene Majors as Chairman of the Board and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimous- ly. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration confirmation of City Mana- ger's reappointment to the Personnel Appeals Board. City Manager Gonzalez asked this matter be tabled to the next meeting. Mayor Craddock moved to table the matter to the April 23, 1984 Regular Meeting and Mr. Brown seconded this motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider approval of a Zoning Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: * Mr. Moore was present at 7:40 p.m.
