<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE
<br /> PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY SAID
<br /> CITY OF 0.01 ACRES OF LAND, BEING A
<br /> PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 2O, ORIGINAL TOWN
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 46,
<br /> PAGE 448, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AS
<br /> CONVEYED TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS BY
<br /> MRS. BERT E. NORRIS BY DEED DATED MAY 1,
<br /> 1935 AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 109, PAGÈ
<br /> 388, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, TO
<br /> INDIFREE INVESTMENTS, INC.; AUTHORIZING
<br /> THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A GENERAL WARRANTY
<br /> DEED TO SAID CORPORATION; AND DECLARING
<br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos,
<br />Texas, has determined it to be in the public interest to
<br />convey to Indifree Investments, Inc. a tract of land
<br />containing 0.01 acres, said tract being more particularly
<br />described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
<br />BEING A PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 20, ORIGINAL TOWN
<br />OF SAN MARCOS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 46, PAGE 448,
<br />HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AS CONVEYED TO THE CITY
<br />OF SAN MARCOS BY MRS. BERT E. NORRIS BY DEED DATED
<br />MAY 1, 1935, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 109, PAGE 388,
<br />HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AND BEING MORE
<br />PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
<br />BEGINNING at a point on the West line of the said
<br />Lot 2, same being on the East line of Lot 1, Block
<br />20, Original Town of San Marcos, same being the
<br />Northeast corner of the 0.14 acre tract of land,
<br />more or less, conveyed to Indifree Investments,
<br />Inc., by Tom G. Ezell, Trustee by deed dated August
<br />20, 1984 and recorded in Volume 462, Page 307, Hays
<br />CouQty Deed Records, for the Northwest corner of
<br />the tract herein described;
<br />THENCE, leaving the said Lot 1 and the said
<br />Indifree 0.l4 acre tract, N 81o28'E, 3.55 feet to
<br />an iron stake set for the Northeast corner of the
<br />tract herein described;
<br />THENCE, S08°17'E, 72.16 feet to an iron stake set,
<br />for the Southeast corner of the tract herein
<br />described;
<br />THENCE, S81o44'W, 3.55 feet to a point on the West
<br />line of the said Lot 2, same being the East line of
<br />the said Lot 1, and being the East line of the said
<br />Indifree 0.14 acre tract, for the Southwest corner
<br />of the tract herein described;
<br />THENCE, with the West line of the said Lot 2, same
<br />being the East line of the said Lot 1, and being
<br />the East line of the said Indifree 0.14 acre tract,
<br />N08°17'w, 72.14 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
<br />containing 0.01 acres of land;
