44 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JANUARY 14, 1985 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Farr Fred Guerra Betty Jane Kissler Jaime Moore City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Lamar W. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 8:20 p.fl. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held December 17, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for ap- proval and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting held December 21, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved for approval and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra, Moore. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint- ments to the Airport Commission. Mr. Farr moved to reappoint Charley Crosson, reappoint Stanley Ault, appoint Peggy Chambliss and appoint McBride Wilson, Jr. (who resides out of the city limits). Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint- ments to the Parks and Recreation Board. Mayor Craddock moved to re- appoint all of the following members: Ollie Giles, Tom Allen, Maurice "Mo" Johnson and Lunelle Anderson. Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint- ments to the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mayor Craddock moved to reappoint all of the following members: Dr. James Goldsmith, Mrs. Sidney Anderson, Mr. Joe Nicola and Mrs. Zelma Davis. Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three appoint- ments by the City Council to the Tourist Development Committee. The members will serve three year terms, but this Committee's first terms
