35 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, MAY 20, 1985 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members * Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington ** Gerald G. Herrera Acting Director of Personnel Carolyn Liner Director of Public Horks George Boeker Director of Planning Frank Robbins Director of Env. and Engineering Steve Jenkins Director of Finance Nora Chavez Chief of Police Myron Galchutt Also Present: Gregg Echols, Melissa Millecam, Margie Hernandez Sitha Klipple, Wayne Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd MacKenzie and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 6, 1985. Ms. Kissler moved for approv- al of the minutes and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of.the minutes of the Special Meeting held May 13,1985. Mr. Guerra moved for approv- al and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Craddock, Guerra, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kissler. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration confirmation of the Assist- ant City Manager's appointment of the Personnel Director. It was con- sensus of Council to consider this item following the Executive Session scheduled later in the meeting. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment of a City Council Member as CAP CO Representative to replace Mr. Codding- ton. Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Fred Guerra and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Craddock, Kissler, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra. * Mr. Brown was present at 7:44 p.m. ** Mr. Farr was present at 7:51 p.m.
