75 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JUNE 24, 1985 PRESENT: Mayor Ewnie Craddock Council Members * Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Farr Fred Guerra * Betty Jane Kissler William C. Nicola City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary * Janis K. Womack City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins Assistant City Manager Robert T. Herrera Director of Planning Frank Robbins Director of Public Works George Boeker Director of Env. and Engineering Stephen Jenkins Director of Parks and Recreation Rodney Cobb Also Present: Mary Jane Warner, Mark Hendricks, Gregg Echols, Floyd MacKenzie, Jim Garber, Melissa Millecam, Russell Scott and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held June 10, 1985. Mr. Coddington moved for approval and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three ap- pointments to the Cemetery Commission. Mayor Craddock moved to reappoint Betsy Martindale, to reappoint Pat Nicola and to reappoint Henry C. Kyle. Mr. Nicola seconded the motion,which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four ap- pointments to the Commission for Minorities. Mayor Craddock moved to reappoint Arnold Leder and to reappoint Rose Brooks. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Ruben Garza. Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Farr moved to table the fourth appointment to July 8, and Mayor Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appointments to the Ethics Review Commission. Mayor Craddock moved to reappoint Stanley Sissom, to reappoint W. B. Pryatel, and to reappoint Mary Helen Moore. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Francis McNair. Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of nine appointments to the Commission for Women. Mayor Craddock moved to reappoint Susan Day, to reappoint Dolores Crittendon, to re- appoint Martha St. Clair, to appoint Ramona Ford, to appoint Judy Allen, to appoint patricia Barrett, to appoint Martha Flores, and to appoint Connie Bagley. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Frances Knight. Mr . Nicola seconded the motion. On roll call the follow- ing vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Guerra. The members will draw lots for their terms of office. *Mr. Brown, Ms. Kissler and Ms. Womack were not present at this meeting.
