Womack <br />City Attorney Lamar W. hankins <br />Police Chief Myron Galchutt <br />Director of Planning Frank Robbins <br />Director of Public Works George Boeker <br />Director of Parks and Recreation Rodney Cobb <br />Acting Director of Finance Donna Farley <br />Director of Env. and Engineering Steve Jenkins <br />Also Present: Mrs. Stanley Ault, Rowe Ray, Melissa Millecam, Mrs. <br />Braden, Patsy Greiner, Larry Dupont, Jim Pendergast, Dan Smith, Henry <br />Krause, Roy Peyton, John Wade, Judy Mitchell, Augustin Lucio, Robert <br />Wynn and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting held January 12, 1987. Mr. Brown moved for approval <br />of the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. The Council directed <br />the minutes be corrected in the fourth line at the top of Page 2 to <br />reflect Mr. Guerra seconded Mayor Younger's motion. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Brown, Farr, Younger, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Coddington. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Special Meeting held January 19, 1987. Mr. Farr moved for approval <br />and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to <br />the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Mary <br />Collier and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />The Council directed information be forwarded to Weldon Polzin who is <br />interested in serving on this Board. Two more appointments will be <br />scheduled for the next Regular Meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration appointments to the Emergency <br />Medical Service (EMS) Committee. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Donna <br />Swinney and Peggy Bias and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. It was noted by the Council that Donna Swinney <br />also serves on the Library Board, but since the EMS Committee is set <br />up as a te~porary Board, the Council saw no conflict in her serving <br />on EI'iS also. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to <br />the historic Preservation Commission. Mr. Nicola moved to appoint <br />Ronald Jager as the appointment from the San Antonio Street Historic <br />District to complete the vacancy of Joan Terry and to appoint Michael <br />Ousey as the appointment from the Downtown Historic District to complete <br />the vacancy of Laura Ramsay and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />
