Call To Order <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Pro Tern Prather at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 <br />E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero was absent due to business travel. <br />Present: 6 - Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan Thomason, Deputy <br />Mayor Pro Tern Shane Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather, Council Member Lisa <br />Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson <br />Absent: 1 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero <br />RESENTATIONS <br />1. Receive a presentation from the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) <br />Clean Air Coalition regarding Proposed Ozone Standards & Implications for Central <br />Texas, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Fred Blood, with CAPCOG Clean Air Coalition, provided a presentation to City Council regarding <br />proposed Ozone Standards and Implications for Central Texas. Following discussion the <br />Council provided Staff with direction to provide the Clean Air Coalition with a letter of support <br />on behalf of the Council. <br />2. Receive a Staff update and hold discussion regarding CM Allen Parkway <br />Reconstruction, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Laurie Moyer, Director of Engineering /CIP, provided a presentation and update regarding the CM <br />Allen Parkway Reconstruction project to Council. Following discussion the Council provided <br />direction for Staff to move forward with Option 1 -A: Full Reconstruction w/ Road Diet at a cost of <br />$1,700,000. <br />6:00 PM <br />III. Invocation <br />A moment of silence was observed in rememberance of Kent Finlay. <br />/.
