Call To Order With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tern Prather at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. II. Roll Call Mayor Daniel Guerrero was absent due to business travel. Present: 6 - Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Shane Scott, Mayor Pro -Tem Jude Prather, Council Member Lisa Prewitt and Council Member Jane Hughson Absent: 1 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero RESENTATIONS 1. Receive a presentation from the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) Clean Air Coalition regarding Proposed Ozone Standards & Implications for Central Texas, and provide direction to Staff. Fred Blood, with CAPCOG Clean Air Coalition, provided a presentation to City Council regarding proposed Ozone Standards and Implications for Central Texas. Following discussion the Council provided Staff with direction to provide the Clean Air Coalition with a letter of support on behalf of the Council. 2. Receive a Staff update and hold discussion regarding CM Allen Parkway Reconstruction, and provide direction to Staff. Laurie Moyer, Director of Engineering /CIP, provided a presentation and update regarding the CM Allen Parkway Reconstruction project to Council. Following discussion the Council provided direction for Staff to move forward with Option 1 -A: Full Reconstruction w/ Road Diet at a cost of $1,700,000. 6:00 PM III. Invocation A moment of silence was observed in rememberance of Kent Finlay. /.
