Hankins <br />Larry Gilley <br />Frank Robbins <br />Steve Jenkins <br />Rodney Cobb <br /> <br />Also Present: Mark Hendricks, Melissa Millecam, Jim Gandy, Jorge Rod- <br />riguez Frank Rich, Jr., Dan Smith / Jeff Kester, : John ¡'Vade, Aart Millecam, <br />Ralph Ramlrez and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Regular Meeting held February 9, 1987. Mr. Brown moved for approval <br />of the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. Mr. Nicola request- <br />ed an addition to the minutes on Page 9 in the third paragraph regarding <br />Karnack Cable TV: Mr. Smith is to provide Council with area rates, local <br />station services and the net increase cost to customers. On roll call <br />the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br /> <br />Brown, Coddington, Younger, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Farr. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of appointments to <br />the Citizens Storm Drainage Advisory Board. Ms. Kissler made an appoint- <br />ment at larger Suzanne Rubio (Burleson Street). Mayor Younger and Mr. <br />Coddington are scheduled to make their appointments at the next Regular <br />Meeting of the Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval <br />of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE <br />OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY RE- <br />PEALING SECTIONS l2(D) (6) (c) AND 14(D) (6) (c) AND BY <br />REFORMATTING SECTION> 19 (D) (1), 20 (D) (1), 21(D) (1), <br />22(D) (1), AND 23(D) (2), AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the amendment. No one did, so Mayor <br />Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Brown moved for approval of <br />the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br />
