Langenkamp <br /> Director of Finance Bill White <br /> Also Present: Collette Duran, Kim Adams, Bob Ronson, Colette <br /> Davis, Melissa Millecam, Phil Neighbors, Reed Walker, Kim <br /> Bradley, Jane Hughson and others. <br /> Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced the canvassing of the returns of the <br /> Special Runoff Election held May 22; 1993. The Council canvassed <br /> the returns of the election. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an <br /> Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RESULTS OF THE <br /> RUNOFF ELECTION HELD ON MAY 22, 1993 FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> ELECTING A CITY COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE THREE AND DECLARING AN <br /> EMERGENCY. <br /> Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and <br /> Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. Mayor Morris moved to amend the <br /> Ordinance in Section 3 to add the name of Robert Mooney and Mr. <br /> Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Morris issued a Certificate of Election to the elected City <br /> Council Member, Place Three, Robert Mooney and then administered <br /> the Oath of Office to Mr. Mooney. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration the election of the <br /> Mayor Pro-Tempore. Mr. Moore moved to appoint Bill Plummer as <br /> Mayor Pro-Tempore and Mr. Hart seconded the motion. On roll call <br /> the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Moore, Mooney, Hart, Morris, Guerra, Cox. <br /> NAY: None. <br /> ABSTAIN: Plummer. <br /> * Mr. Moore present at 7:38 p.m. <br /> ** Mr. Hernandez not present at this meeting. <br />
