Hopkins <br />630 East Hopkins <br />San Marcos, TX 78666 <br />City Council Chambers <br />With a quorum present, the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in <br />the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br />11. Roll Call <br />Council Member Prather arrived after roll call at 5:34 p.m. <br />Council Member Derrick was absent due to illness with strep throat. <br />Present: 6 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Jude <br />Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson and <br />Council Member Scott Gregson <br />Absent: 1 - Council Member Melissa Derrick <br />111. Invocation <br />Scottie McIntyre, San Marcos Unitarian Universalist, provided the invocation. <br />IV. Pledges Of Allegiance - United States And Texas <br />Jose Vallejo- Chavez, a sixth grade student from the Texas Preparatory School <br />led the assembly in the Pledge's of Allegiance. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />1. Receive a Staff presentation regarding the results of CM Allen Street options analysis, <br />and provide direction to Staff. <br />Greg Schwarz, Senior Engineer, provided the Council with the results of the <br />CM Allen Street options analysis. Staff was directed to bring back modified <br />Option 3 with some elements of Option 2 included in the design for further <br />discussion and to keep the bulb -out near Hopkins Street that is shown on <br />Option 2, but missing in Option 3. Council provided consensus to not remove <br />the access to CM Allen from the Grant Harris parking lot. Council provided <br />direction to take the green area opposite of the bulb out in Option 2 and add it <br />City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
