126 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JANUARY 23, 1995 PRESENT: Mayor Kathy M. Morris Mayor Pro-Tem * Fred Guerra Council Members Billy G. Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Morris introduced the ten-minute Citizen comment period with the city Council. Stewart Spencer signed up to speak but was not present when Mayor Morris announced this item. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Airport Commission. Mayor Morris moved to appoint Nick Icossipentarhos, who resides outside the city limits, and Mr. Moore moved to appoint Neva Lockett, who resides. outside the city limits. On roll call the following vote was recorded: ICOSSIPENTARHOS: Mooney, Hart, Morris, Hernandez. LOCKETT: Moore, Cox. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Senior citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Hernandez moved to appoint Lala Tobias, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Historic Preservation Commission. Mayor Morris moved to reappoint Nancy Scott to serve in the at large position, and reappoint Myra Westover to serve in the position of a property owner/business owner within the Downtown Historic District, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Parks and Recreation Board. Mayor Morris moved to appoint Mo Johnson and appoint Brad Lantz, which passed unanimously. Mayor l1orris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: * Mr. Guerra present at 8:l3 p.m.
