Dr. Jack Fairchild reviewed a chart with the <br />Council regarding the pollutant load discharge into the river. The <br />chart covered a 7-year period. The River Foundation requests the <br />city seek an amended treatment plant upgrade to 5-5-2-1. Dianne <br />Wassenich of the River Foundation produced photographs of the San <br />Marcos River, which showed areas in need to cleanup. She stated she <br />would be available to answer questions. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the Commission for Women. Mr. Mooney moved to <br />appoint Tracy Nowicki, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of six <br />appointments to the Sunset Advisory Committee. Mr. Mooney moved to <br />appoint Wallace Dockall, Mr. Hart moved to appoint Wayland Endsley, <br />Mayor Morris moved to appoint Soila Rodriguez, and Mr. Hernandez <br />moved to appoint Ray Perez, which passed unanimously. The remaining <br />appointments will be rescheduled at the next meeting. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four <br />appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor <br />Morris moved to reappoint Rev. Herman Foster as Alternate 1, <br />reappoint Larry Hammons as Alternate 2, reappoint Richard Garza and <br />reapoint Robby Robbins, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. No <br />appointment was made and it will be rescheduled at the next meeting. <br />* Mr. Cox present at 7:33 p.m.; Messrs. Moore and Guerra not present <br />at this meeting. <br />
