Sowell, Greg Gilcrease, Charlotte Wood, John McBride, <br />Dr. Janette Passty, Laura Weatherford, Jack Weatherford, Vicki Williams, George <br />VonderLippe, Betsy Robertson, Faye Gillham, Chuck Davis, Camille Phillips, Dr. Lewis <br />Gilcrease, Jake Isaac, Margaret Morris, Margaret Jordan, Rich Salas, Chuch Nicholson, <br />David Zytopek, Martha Tatum and others. <br />Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Moore introduced the ten-minute citizen comment period. Ms. Julia Ramsey-New, <br />Director of the San Marcos Youth Council, stated she was speaking in regards to the Youth <br />Council lease. Ms. Ramsey stated they were requesting the lease be amended to include <br />the .89 acre behind the current building. Ms. Ramsey stated she had received some <br />concerns from the Police Department of the building being too close to the range although <br />she stated several of the other buildings are even closer. Ms. Ramsey stated there are <br />also problems with a sewer line crossing through the property and the main treatment plant <br />transmission. Ms. Ramsey stated that when they get ready to build they would be able to <br />work together with the City and hoped the Council would consider their request. Ms. <br />Louise Nichols stated she was opposing a zoning change of her neighbor at the corner of <br />Ranch Road 12 and Bishop because of it becoming a very bad traffic hazard. Ms. Nichols <br />suggested he look at single-family dwellings in keeping with the area if possible. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Human <br />Development Commission. The Council will consider these appointments at its next <br />regular meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Zoning <br />Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. Hart moved to nominate Dianna Lasyone, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Housing
