Womack <br />Mark Taylor <br />Ross Allegro <br />Dan O'Leary <br />Steve Jenkins <br />George Boeker <br />Ron Patterson <br />Larry Kendrick <br />Bill White, <br />Terry Ewald <br />Also Present: Scott Maier, Collette Duran, Mario Gutierrez, Joe <br />Castillo, Melissa Millecam, Frank Arredondo, Lillie Belle Townsend, <br />Dolores Crittendon, Cheryl Pantermuehl, Kim Doherty, Jack Clement, <br />Robby Robbins and others. <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Rick Hernandez called the meeting to order at 7:30 <br />p.m. <br />Mr. Hernandez introduced the three-minute Citizen comment period. <br />Robby Robbins advised the Council of-his difficulties in securing <br />water for the Champion Business Park (Mr. Guerra present - 7:33 <br />p.m.). There are 26 lots involved, and there is a time limit on <br />this real estate transaction. He asked for the City's help in <br />acquiring water from Kyle and stated this transaction could bring <br />money to the City of San Marcos. <br />Mr. Hernandez introduced for consideration an appointment to the <br />Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Mr. Hernandez stated this <br />matter could be considered later in the meeting upon the arrival of <br />Mayor Moore. <br />Mr. Hernandez introduced for consideration one appointment to <br />complete a vacancy on the Central Texas Higher Education Authority. <br />Mr. Hart moved to appoint Jim Pendergast, which passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Hernandez introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the Housing Authority Board. Mr. Guerra requested <br />the Council consider delaying this appointment to the next meeting, <br />as there is someone he is trying to reach regarding this <br />appointment. It was consensus to schedule this appointment for the <br />February 20 Meeting. <br />Mr. Hernandez introduced for consideration approval of an ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGISTER MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION <br />82.067 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE BY THE ADDITION OF TWO HOUR <br />PARKING LIMITATIONS DURING THE HOURS OF 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. <br />IN THE 300 BLOCK OF E. HUTCHISON STREET AND THE 200 AND 300 <br />BLOCKS OF N.
