Betty Starling¡ <br /> an ETJ resident and property owner¡ served on the Citizens Advisory <br /> Committee. She advised she wanted to discuss an issue important to <br /> the Northwest ETJ residents. (1) She wants to know what the <br /> scientific basis for development over the Edwards Recharge Zone is <br /> and referred to the scientific analysis prepared by Kate Moore in <br /> 1983¡ which replaced the previous density map with 0-3 per acre. <br /> (2) Ms. Starling urged the City to plan the annexation plån to <br /> control density over the Aquifer and to remain a good steward to the <br /> environment. (3) Ms. Starling wants the City to extend the <br /> sector-type in the ETJ and (4) applauds the City for the cluster <br /> type development for landowners and the Aquifer. (5) Ms. Starling <br /> wants the City to address the roadways and traffic congestion when <br /> the apartment complexes are developed in the Post Road area. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of four <br /> appointments to the Airport Commission. Mayor Morris moved to <br /> reappoint patricia Spearman and reappoint Sandy Neese¡ which passed <br /> unanimously. The remaining two appointments will be rescheduled. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of three <br /> appointments to the Historic Preservation Commission. Mayor Morris <br /> moved to reappoint Lisa Garza (P&Z¡s representative) and Mr. Cox <br />l moved to reappoint Gwen Smith (San Antonio Street representative) ¡ <br />-- which passed unanimously. The remaining appointment will be <br /> rescheduled. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of six <br /> appointments to the Parks and Recreation Board. Mr. Moore moved to <br /> appoint Patsy Greiner¡ Mayor Morris moved to reappoint Rick Travis¡ <br /> reappoint Moe Johnson¡ appoint Shirley Ann Robinson and appoint <br /> Linda Keese¡ Mr. Guerra moved to reappoint Brad Lantz¡ and Mr. <br /> Hernandez moved to appoint Anastacio Medillin.
