<br />Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
<br />Mayor Moore introduced the Citizen Comment Period. There were no speakers.
<br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of seven appointments to the Bond
<br />Oversight Committee. Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Christine North as Neighborhood
<br />Association member, Mr. Moseley moved to appoint Lex Ray as Greenbelt Alliance member,
<br />Mayor Moore moved to appoint John McBride as 1997-1998 Blue Ribbon Bond Committee
<br />member, Mr. Cox moved to appoint George Von Der Lippe as 1997-1998 Blue Ribbon Bond
<br />Committee member and Mr. Doiron moved to appoint Michael Hennessy as a resident of San
<br />Marcos, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin and Mr. Hernandez will make their
<br />appointments at the next Regular City Council Meeting.
<br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of six appointments to the Central Texas
<br />Higher Education Authority Board. Mayor Moore moved to appoint Al Lowman and Sundra
<br />Spears; Mr. Mihalkanin moved to reappoint Gloria Salazar, reappoint Lynn Ahrens and reappoint
<br />Darrell Hill; Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Robert Lucio and Mr. Doiron moved to appoint
<br />Carol Peters. On roll call the following vote was recorded:
<br />Al Lowman: Hughson, Moore, Moseley, Cox.
<br />Sundra Spears: Mihalkanin, Hughson, Doiron, Moore, Moseley, Cox.
