Rodney Cobb <br />Director of Finance Bill White <br />Also Present: John Cooper, Marsha Cooper, Sarah Alvarez, Amelia Rios, Bob <br />Gee, Melissa Millecam, Collette Duran, Larry Sowards, Ollie Giles, Chris <br />North, Robert Mooney, Dianne Wassenich, Mario Gutierrez, Gloria Suarez, <br />Armando Martinez, David Chiu, Rob Robinson, Kelly Franks and others. <br />Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Moore introduced the citizen comment period. Bryan Anderson stated <br />he is a San Marcos voter and citizen and is concerned about the river. He <br />stated the curfew for the Spring Lake Dam area was violated by SWT, as the <br />grounds staff cut grass in the prohibited area. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of three appointments to <br />the San Marcos Industrial Development Corporation. There were no <br />nominations, and this matter will be rescheduled for the next meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to <br />the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. No name was submitted, so <br />this will be rescheduled for the next meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to <br />the Historic Preservation Commission. Mr. Mihalkanin moved to appoint <br />Benjamin Castoreno to complete the vacancy for the Downtown <br />representative, and Sandi Ellison to complete the vacancy as the San <br />Antonio Street representative, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration removal from the table and nine <br />appointments to the Drainage Advisory Board. Ms. Hughson moved to appoint <br />Bryan McClung as the Sector Five representative, which passed unanimously. <br />The remaining appointments will be rescheduled for the next meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of <br />a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A 24.02 ACRE <br />TRACT OF UNZONED PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 4200 BLOCK OF IH35 SOUTH, TO <br />* Messrs. Moseley and Hernandez were not present at this meeting.
