(1) Martha Latta <br />was advised by a citizen in the Northwest portion of San Marcos the <br />City had advised the citizen their water pressure was low because of <br />Gardenville. Gardenville is not within the City limits and is not <br />connected to City water and does not lower the City's water pressure <br />with any of their activities. Mrs. Latta stated the City's low <br />water pressure problem in that area of town is due to unchecked <br />growth allowed in that area and no infrastructure to support it. <br />She has received some correspondence from the City regarding the <br />proposed water project and attended a meeting on the subject. If <br />her business property is in question, she wants the City to be in <br />contact with her regarding same. Mr. Gilley was directed to have <br />Staff appropriately respond. (2) Lee Kenyon requested the City <br />Council consider funding Habitat for Humanity with CDBG funding. <br />(3) Michael Sullivan of Congressman Ron Paul's Washington office <br />advised the City Council of services available through Congressman <br />Paul's office that will assist citizens or cities work with the <br />federal bureaucratic offices. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Cemetery Commission. No nominations were received, and this <br />will be scheduled for the next Council Meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of three <br />appointments to the Ethics Review Commission. Mayor Moore moved to <br />reappoint Paul Buntyn and reappoint Susan Tilka, which passed <br />unanimously. The remaining appointment will be scheduled at the <br />next meeting. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Senior Citizens Facilities Advisory Board to complete a <br />vacancy. Mayor Moore moved to appoint Delia Lucio and Ms. Hughson <br />moved to appoint Alida Archer. On roll call the following vote was <br />recorded: <br />Lucio: Doiron, Moore, Cox, Hernandez. <br />Archer: Mihalkanin, Hughson, Moseley. <br />Mrs. Lucio was appointed to this Board.
