Womack <br />Barbara Edwards <br /> <br />Also Present: Anna Farr, Mrs. Jaime Moore, Bill and Nina Pryatel, Cur- <br />tis Adrian, Ken Long, Jane Wilson, Brenda Smith, Jack Lindstrom, Jeff <br />Watkins, Julie (KCNY), Jim Fawcett and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock announced the Council would canvass the returns of the <br />Regular Election held Saturday, April 3, 1982. By consensus of the <br />Council, the City Secretary was advised to adjust the totals on the <br />Returns of the election as follows: Precinct #12 - change 247 to 246; <br />Precinct #13 - change 328 to 330; Precinct #30 - change 210 to 209; <br />Precinct #34 - change 179 to 177, which would adjust the total vote in <br />the City Election to 2340, rather than 2342. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of an Ordin- <br />ance declaring the results of the Regular Election, the caption which <br />was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, CANVASSING RETURNS AND DECLARING RE- <br />SULTS OF THE REGULAR CITY ELECTION HELD APRIL 3, 1982, <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING A ~YOR; COUNCIL MEMBER, <br />PLACE FIVE; COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE SIX AND APPROVING <br />OR REJECTING THE TE~4S AND CONDITIONS OF A LEASE OF <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE/BATHROOM PORTION OF THE RECREATIONAL <br />BUILDING IN THE SAN MARCOS CITY PARK TOGETHER WITH <br />ACCESS TO THE PARKING LOT ADJACENT THERETO, TO THE <br />LIONS CLUB OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />Mrs. Norris moved for the adoption of the Ordinance and Mrs. Mendez <br />seconded the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. James moved the Ordinance be amended to reflect the actual total <br />count on the tabulation sheet to reflect the total of 2340 (-2) and <br />Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock moved the Ordinance be amended in Section 2 to add the <br />following: A. duly elected Mayor, "Emmie Craddock"; B. duly elected <br />Council Member, Place Five, "Jaime Moore"; C. duly elected Council <br />Member, Place Six, "Gerald G. Farr"; and D. a lease to the Lions Club <br />was "adopted" by a majority of the qualified voters; and that on the <br />first page of the Ordinance in the fifth paragraph the name of "Robert <br />L. Cavazos" be deleted as being present at the meeting. Mrs. Norris <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />* Robert L.
