41 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JUNE 14, 1982 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr John A. Kreczmer Elida A. Mendez Jaime Moore Tess Norris City Manager City Secretary City Attorney Finance Director Senior Accountant Public Works Director Acting Police Chief Fire Chief City Planner A. C. Gonzalez Janis K. Womack Barbara Jean Edwards Earl Williams Jackie Matthys George Boeker Jesse Guerra Oscar Carpenter Joe Garza Also Present: Patty Sullivan, Nell Burleson, John and Beth Morrisset, Jerri Martin, Jeff Watkins, Julie (KCNY), Curtis Adrian, Kim Oliphant, Gwen Smith, Betty Wolverton, Ellie Stewart, Bill and Nina Pryatel, Ada Burke, Sherry Sanderson, Kelley Kilber, Larry Murphree, Brenda Smith, Mike Chapman and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 24, 1982. Mrs. Norris moved to ap- prove the minutes and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Kreczmer, Craddock, Mendez, Moore, Norris. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Brown. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting held May 25, 1982. Mr. Farr moved to ap- prove the minutes and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Farr, Kreczmer, Craddock, Norris. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Brown, Mendez, Moore. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a Zoning Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT NO. SIX (6) IN BLOCK NO. THREE (3) IN THE WALLACE ADDI- TION, LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF TAMPICO AND STAPLES ROAD, FROM "D" (MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DIS- TRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT).
