Carson, Don Laine, Gwen Smith, Joe Cox, Richard Huff, <br />Yancy Yarbrough, Kelley Kilber and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting held May 10, 1982. Mrs. Norris moved to ap- <br />prove the minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the Special Meeting held May 17, 1982. Mrs. Norris moved to approve <br />the minutes and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the appointment of a <br />Council Member to the Regional Task Force for the IH-35 Corridor <br />Planning. Mrs. Norris moved to appoint Gerald Farr and Mrs. Mendez <br />seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Kreczmer, Craddock, Mendez, Moore, Norris. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Farr. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider approval of a Zoning <br />Ordinance rezoning Lot Twelve in the Coers Second Addition, a/k/a 153 <br />Coers Street from "R-i" (Single-Family Dwelling District) to "D" (Multi- <br />Family Dwelling District). No one wished to speak in favor or against <br />the zoning change, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. The <br />Zoning Ordinance was then considered for approval on first reading, <br />the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br />29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING LOT NO. TWELVE (12) IN <br />COERS SECOND ADDITION, A/K/A 153 COERS STREET, FROM <br />"R-l" (SINGLE-FAnCILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "D" (MUL- <br />TI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT). <br /> <br />* Karl W.
