Brittain; Alvin Langhamer; James Broussard; Willard Stouffer; <br />Gregory Perez; Mr. & Mrs John Morrisset; Mr. & Mrs. Phil Hardin; <br />Jim Alvis; Bob Derrick; Melissa Millecam; Rowe Ray; Gary Bond; and <br />others. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held June l4, 1976 were approved on motion ~f <br />Mr. Cavazos and second of Mr. Han~en. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced a request by Mr. H.M. Brittain for permits to temporarily <br />locate two mobile homes on Lots 36 and 40 of the A.M. Ramsay Addition, Lockhart <br />and First streets. She noted that the Planning and Zoning Commission had recom- <br />mended approval. Gregory Perez came before the Council with a duly executed "ower <br />of attorney instrument giving him the authority to object to the location of rr~bile <br />homes on the lots on behalf of Albert M. Walker, owner of Lot 34 in the Addition. <br />Mr. Arredondo moved the request be denied. Mr. Breihan seconded the motion, .~ich <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a request for a permit to operate pool tables at 100 N. <br />Guadalupe Street. The applicant, Pllil Hardin, was present. Mr. John Morrisset, <br />owner of two businesses on the Square, informed the Council that the currently <br />existing\pool-hall on the Square created problems for the merchants in the area in <br />the form of trash strewn on the street~ and sidewalks and inadequate parking. <br />Mr. Cavazos moved the permit be approved. TEXAS, / <br />AMENDING SECTION 19 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTR!CTS / <br />THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY-23,_ <br />1966 (VOL. 32) TO PROVillE FOR THE APPOINTMENT BY THE MAYOR OF TWO <br />ALTERNATE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF AJ)Jl]STMENT TO SERVE IN THE ABSENCE <br />OF ONE OR MORE REGULAR MEMBERS. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance be approved on second reading. Mr. James seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DEl'ERMINING AND FIXING THE MAXIMUM SCHEDULES OF RATES TO BE <br />CHARGED BY ENTEX, INC., IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, FOR NATURAL GAS <br />AND NATURAL GAS SERVICE FURNISHED BY IT TO RESillENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL <br />CONSUMERS, CONTAINING DEFINITIONS, FIXING THE EFFECTD1E DATES FOR GAS RATES <br />PRESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, MAKING MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS AND REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT. <br />
