Byrn, Helen <br />Van Gundy, Howard Herrin, Jeff Ebner, Jack Stovall, Terry Roberts, Allyn Gill, <br />Allen King, Jeff Franks, Emnett McCoy, Gary Bond and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tem called the meeting to on:ler-atJ 7: 30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held December 19, 1977 were approved on motion <br />of Dr. Craddock and second of Mr. Cavazos. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITf OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTFACT WITH EMERSON-FEHR, ARCHITECTS <br />AND PlANNERS, FOR THE DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SAN MARCOS <br />LIBRARY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock moved the resolution be adopted. Mr. James seconded the motion <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen introduced a request by J. Garland Warren for a change in the zoning of <br />l.Dts 5 and 6 of the West End Addition from "R-l" to "M". Mr. Gene Majors, attorney <br />representing the applicant, came before the Council to request that the pw)lic <br />hearing and consideration of the zoning change ordinance be postponed for ":wo weeks <br />Dr. Craddock moved the Item be postponed until January 23, 1978. Mr. James seconded I <br />the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen introduced an item of four requests for temporary mobile hane perIni ts. <br />Mr. Sutton moved that a permit requested by Mr. E. J. Payne for a mobile home to <br />be located on l.Dt 1, Block 4 of the Fairlawn Addition, Hackberry Street, be <br />approved. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion ",hich passed unanimously. Mr. Cavazos <br />moved to approve a request for a permit to locate a mobile home on l.Dt 76 of the <br />A. M. Ramsay Addition, the intersection of Seguin and Third Street. The applicant <br />is Pete Islas. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion ",hich passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Cavazos moved to approve a request by Leo Ellis for a mobile home to be located <br />on Lot 48, Block 10 of the Westover Addition, 1511 Clyde St:reet. Mr. James seconded' <br />the motion ",hich passed unanimously. Dr. Craddock moved to approve a request by <br />Mr. J. B. Schneider for a location of a mobile home on part of Farm l.Dt 10, 1131 <br />Porter Street. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion ",hich passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TlJE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDED CONTFACT FOR SERVICES BE'IWEfN THE <br />HERITAGE GUILD AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS FOR THE CONTINUED <br />OPEFATION OF THE CHARLES S. COCK HOME /13 A HOUSE MUSEUM OPEN <br />TO THE PUBLIC, AND AUTHORIZING TlJE MAYOR OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE SAID CONTFACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock moved the resolution be adopted.
