Poore; Pat Price; Tom Bond; Diane Elder; Mike Rhea; Geneva Gomez; Frances Marshall; Frances Emery; Pat Gonzales; Oliver Deike; Andy Bankhead; Mrs. Jack Weatherford; Gil Rainosek The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Invocation was given by Mr. H.Y. Price, jr. The Minutes of the January 22 meeting were presented for approval. The City Secretary noted that a correction was necessary on the fourth line from the bottom of page two; Councilman Cunningham had voted "NAY" insteaded of the recorded "AYE". The Minutes were approved as corrected, with Councilman King abstaining due to his absence at the meeting. The Minutes of the Recessed Regular meeting of January 23 were unanimously approved. The Minutes of the Special Meeting of February 5 were approved with Dr. Tauch abstaining. The Mayor opened a Public Hearing to consider a request for a change of zoning on Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, Coers Second Addition Number 2, from "R-I" to "D". Mrs. Florence Lemke (appli- cant) was represented by her son who stated that no objections had been made before the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing. There was no one speaking against the request. The Mayor closed the Public Hearing and introduced an ordinance with the following caption: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 13, 14, 15, 16 AND 17 IN THE COERS SECOND ADDITION, FROM "R-I" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDEN- TIAL) TO "D" (MULTIFAMILY). Mr. Etheredge moved the ordinance be approved on first reading. Mr. Yarbrough, noting that the Planning and Zoning Commission had recommended approval of the change, seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor introduced an Order for the Procedure of the Regular City Officer's Election to be held April 3, 1973. The City secretary read the Order in its entirety (see Order attached). Mr. Cunningham nominated Mrs. Chris Brasher to serve as Election Judge for Precinct 8. Mr. Etheredge moved the nomination of Mrs. Brasher be approved. The motion was seconded by Mr. King, and passed unanimously. At the Mayor's request, the City Secretary read the Order tor City Of ticer's Election (see attached). Mr. King moved the Order and Election Judges be approved. Mr. Cunningham seconded tne motion, which passed unanimously.
