Price, jr. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the January 22 meeting were presented for approval. <br />The City Secretary noted that a correction was necessary on the <br />fourth line from the bottom of page two; Councilman Cunningham had <br />voted "NAY" insteaded of the recorded "AYE". The Minutes were <br />approved as corrected, with Councilman King abstaining due to his <br />absence at the meeting. The Minutes of the Recessed Regular <br />meeting of January 23 were unanimously approved. The Minutes of <br />the Special Meeting of February 5 were approved with Dr. Tauch <br />abstaining. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened a Public Hearing to consider a request for a <br />change of zoning on Lots 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, Coers Second <br />Addition Number 2, from "R-I" to "D". Mrs. Florence Lemke (appli- <br />cant) was represented by her son who stated that no objections <br />had been made before the Planning and Zoning Commission hearing. <br />There was no one speaking against the request. The Mayor closed <br />the Public Hearing and introduced an ordinance with the following <br />caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH <br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, <br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY <br />CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 13, 14, 15, 16 AND 17 IN THE <br />COERS SECOND ADDITION, FROM "R-I" (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDEN- <br />TIAL) TO "D" (MULTIFAMILY). <br /> <br />Mr. Etheredge moved the ordinance be approved on first reading. <br />Mr. Yarbrough, noting that the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />had recommended approval of the change, seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an Order for the Procedure of the Regular <br />City Officer's Election to be held April 3, 1973. The City <br />secretary read the Order in its entirety (see Order attached). <br />Mr. Cunningham nominated Mrs. Chris Brasher to serve as Election <br />Judge for Precinct 8. Mr. Etheredge moved the nomination of Mrs. <br />Brasher be approved. The motion was seconded by Mr. King, and <br />passed unanimously. At the Mayor's request, the City Secretary <br />read the Order tor City Of ticer's Election (see attached). Mr. <br />King moved the Order and Election Judges be approved. Mr. Cunningham <br />seconded tne motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
