Poore, Frank Contreras, jr., Jay O'Neal, <br />Gilbert Rainosek, Garland Stokes, Lanny Cravy, <br />Warren Leddick <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7: 30p.m. <br /> <br />The Reverend Tommy Ruth BalL Minister of the Assembly of God <br />Church, gave the Invocation. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Zavesky moved approval of the January 25, 1971 Minutes, as <br />presented. Mr, King seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mr, Yarbrough moved approval of the Minutes of Executive Sessions <br />held January 25, January 28 and. February 2, 1971. Mr. Zavesky <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously" . <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance with the following caption: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF <br />CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS,TEXAS, ANn THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN <br />TERRITORY CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 47 ACRES <br />OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO <br />AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />Mr. Zavesky moved adoption of the Ordinance on third and final <br />reading. Mr. Yarbrough seconded fhe m~tion and on roll call, <br />the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Flores, King, Smith,Y~rbrough, 'Zavesky <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and'Adopted. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced discussion on five recommendations <br />the Planning & Zoning Commission, see attac.hed letter. <br />the areas to be considered for rezoning were examined. <br />answered questions about the various properties. <br />Mr. Yarbrough moved that the zoning on Lots 117 &118 of Park <br />Addition, located on North Lyndon B. Johnson Drive and Chestnut <br />be changed f~om "P-2" (public use) to "C" (commercial).
