<br />The Rev. James E. Folts, Rector of St. Mark's Church, gave the
<br />Invocation.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of the March 23, 1970 meeting were approv.edas
<br />presented, on motion of Mr. ,Zavesky and second of ' Mr. Smith.
<br />Dr,. Craddockab"tained, not having been present at the meeting.
<br />
<br />Mayor Serur administered the Oath of Office to Councilmen Flores,
<br />King and Yarbrough.

<br />Mr. Serur thanked the people of San Marcos for the privilege of
<br />serving on the Council for six years, five as Mayor, and praised
<br />the cooperation he had received fromfellowJCouncilmen and City
<br />employees during his tenure. '

<br />Dr. Cr,addock read a Resolution of Appreci,ation f,orEll~s,Serur,
<br />and moved its, approval. A coPy is.attachedand made ,,1 part of
<br />the Minutes. Upon second of Councilman Smith, the Resolution
<br />was passed unanimously . Dr. Craddock presented 'Mr. Serurwith
<br />a copy of the Resolution, bearing the signatures of , his colleagues,
<br />and the, Seal of the City.
